WHO AWARDS THE DEGREE?
Southeastern University, based in Lakeland, Florida, provides the academic programs and awards your student’s degree. Realife Church connects that education with a local Christian community and practical ministry learning. Your student’s regular experience takes place through this extension site; the local schedule, community, and available opportunities are shaped by Realife.
Bible and Ministry classes are taught in person at Realife, alongside coursework through SEU’s online learning platform. The mix of instruction, eligibility, and requirements depends on the academic program.
Students have scheduled activities at Realife on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with classes, training, chapel, and practicum across the two days. Weekend service attendance and ministry team participation are required.
Coursework, assignments, and independent study continue outside scheduled activities. Use the current timetable to plan employment and transportation around the full commitment.
Review tuition, site fees, technology fees, and program-specific costs together. Enrollment, practicum credit, scholarships, and financial aid affect the individual estimate.
The international trip fee is included in the site fee. Budget separately for additional trip expenses, meals, transportation, housing, books, supplies, and technology.
SEU at Realife is a commuter experience and does not provide on-campus housing. Students arrange their own housing, meals, and transportation.
SEU Staff can provide local apartment referrals and discuss any limited host home opportunities. A manageable commute helps students participate in Tuesday, Thursday, and weekend responsibilities.
Students learn alongside Realife pastors and ministry leaders through practical ministry, leadership sessions, and weekly chapel. Serving together and connecting with fellow students creates opportunities for relationships and spiritual growth.
SEU Staff can explain academic support resources, practicum placement, and arrangements for guidance and feedback.
University coursework and practical ministry help students connect knowledge with service. Opportunities in ministry, global missions, and business as ministry can help them explore their gifts and interests.
Serving can develop communication, collaboration, preparation, and leadership skills that complement students’ academic interests and future goals.
